The SMLR "LITE" Run • 8:15, Lighthouse Beach Park (6/6 thru 10/10)

  2. Did you try once or twice and not come back?
  3. Are you a Fitness Runner and want nothing to do with those crazy marathoners?
  4. Have you been injured and “taking it easy” until you’re back?
  5. Do you enjoy a leisurely pace and have no interest keeping up with faster runners?
  6. Does a gentle 8 AM start with a coffee afterwards sound like a nice way to start YOUR Saturday?

… then you need to run with ERC Saturday mornings!

 

Look what’s NEW for the Saturday Morning Lakefront Runs, starting 6/6

 

  • TWO start times, 7:15 for those cranking up the miles, and 8:15AM for the rest of us who want a few, easy miles… be there 5-10 min early!
  • ONE starting point – Lighthouse Park – with parking, a covered pavilion and bathrooms.
  • A great FINISH, including coffee and munchies and camaraderie on the 6th (and several Saturdays after that).
  • Yoga for Runners* at 9:15, run by Becky Harsma, a certified instructor and new member.

     

    And, you get the same great features we always offer…

     

  • Lots of runners to find a buddy.
  • Pace groups to fit your goals and abilities.
  • Water and Gatorade stops during Marathon Training.
  • Tips and Techniques about running from our Fearless Leader, Kevin McGirl.

 

Come on, we DARE YOU to come (back!) out and NOT have fun… bring a buddy and double your fun!

* 30 mins of yoga/stretching for runners… not too serious (laughter & conversation is allowed!), accessible to all levels, and a great compliment to your running (especially marathoners-in-training!). Bring your own mat or towel, or use the grass!


Runs go off rain or shine, snow or sleet, hot or cold (but not lightning)


Time shown is Start Time, so please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
